In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] problems with google analyticsHello and really, thank you so much for everything !!! You are really so kind !
In fact, I prefer to let the tracking code in the header for 2 reasons : it’s the best way according to google support it’s better to do like this. And the second reason is that if I remove the plugin, I won’t have tracking anymore and I might forget I put the tracking code in the plugin (I totally forgot I put the code in the plugin and I spent a lot of time to find where the double clic came from).I’m not sure to want anonymise the datas and follow the steps you give uper to configure Google Analytics beacause my report will be incomplete and for the promote of the website.
I’ve just thought about something, maybe I can remove the tracking code from the header, make a new analysis of cookies with the plugin (maybe it wouldn’t see the google analytics) and then reset the tracking code in my header. It is wacky but could resolve my problem. I could add a note in the cookies notice and in the privicy policy page to warn users. What do you think ? Could it work ?
I can add your acount in my tag manager as an admin (I’m sorry I’m a moron), but where do I have do add it ? In the ADVANCED OPTIONS of tag manager (“get google analytic account”) ?
Maybe it’s possible to fix this without adding ananymiselp in my tracking code. Maybe it’s possible to adjust the cookie blocker so that it doesn’t add the tag which makes a double tracking that gives me faulse result of rebond rate ?What do you think ?
Again, thank you so so much for your concern, I’m touched really !
I make another website for an association and I would like to use your plugin too because it is really the best I found and tryied (thoose news laws of privicy policy really bother me !)Kind regards !

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] problems with google analyticsHello and thank you so much for your concern and your replies.
In fact, I’m not a developer, I learned a little to be able to understand and make some little changes here or there.
A tryied to anonymise following your first reply (that’s why you thought you’ve missed something). I added a bit of code (var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq . push ([ ‘_setAccount’ , ‘UA-XXXXXX’ ]); _gaq . push ([ ‘_gat._anonymizeIp’ ]); _gaq . push ([ ‘_trackPageview’ ]);)
to anonymise but I think it makes a double tag too and don’t resolve my problem of double clic (that gives me a faulse rebond rate 0%) I writed to google support, they replyied to me to my first post but didn’t reply my second post to settle that problem of coding. (the entire code I put in the header is : <script async src=”https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-XXXXXXX”></script>
<script>
window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
gtag(‘js’, new Date());gtag(‘config’, ‘UA-XXXXXXXX’);
var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq . push ([ ‘_setAccount’ , ‘UA-XXXXXX’ ]); _gaq . push ([ ‘_gat._anonymizeIp’ ]); _gaq . push ([ ‘_trackPageview’ ]);
</script> )
if I remove the fisrt part, I have an error. I’m not good enough to understand everything and I don’t understand everything (neither with tag manager) but I tested today and I still have my problem with faulse double clic and I think it comes from the double tag with my error of anonymise code I added. I have to resolve this problem first before trying to replace the file in the plugin (I think).
I’m a little bit lost… ??Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [ALO EasyMail Newsletter] newsletter widget + miss translationHello, shalom
I managed the translation problem, I finaly found the entry in the PO.
Now in the widget, I still would like to remove the text “name” and “e-mail” before the fields. Instead, I would like them appear into the fields and make them disappear on clic. But also not allow to send the form if the field “name” is still name (if you don’t put your name)
I hope you will answer…
Todah raba !

yes I desactivated the jetpack comments.
Sad because it was fun…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] commentsHello,
As exposed in the topic you made me read, the “GDPR needs a checkbox at every form submission with personal data, including comments.”
Because of the new law, it’s an obligation to put a checkbox under every forms. We need the agreement of people who send a form. And to do that, we have to put a checkbox they have to tick to send the message/comment with the formulation “I agree with the privicy policy”. If they don’t tick it, they cannot send the message/comment. As here https://www.vivonssoi.com/contact/ “En cochant cette case, j’accepte la politique de confidentialité” (normally with the link on the privicy policy page)
Cookie policy and privicy policy are 2 different things. We have now to describe every cookies used in the website and have the agreement of the visitor (if they did not, we are not allowed to make the cookies fonctionate and effectively, the jetpack cookies agreement is not complete because it’s supposed to let a link where the visitor can activate or desactivate the cookies and mostly it’s supposed to have 2 buttons “I agree” and “I desagree”).
Privicy policy is when you collect personnal datas. When people send a message or a comment, when they subscribe to the newsletter, we are collecting datas (the name, the e-mail, adress when you sale things…). And now, it’s an obligation for us to collect their agreement to have the autorisation to keep their personnal datas. If we do not, we risk a 7000€ penalty minimum because of the protection of personnal datas.This new law is a headache, I read many topics and in France many webmasters desactivated the comments because of that.
It’s sad, jetpack was really fun ! But I’m going to do as they do, just desactivate them if I don’t find a solution…It would be really great that Jetpack evolved to be in the conformity with the GDPR law. (including cookies agreement and privicy policy) At least for the comments and the privicy policy… What do you think ?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] commentsHello Gemma,
the checkbox works as expected, but because of the news GDPR, it is not allowed anymore to let somebody post a comment if there isn’t a checkbox “I accept the privicy policy” that you must tick (obligation) to let your comment. Because of this new law, I risk 7000€ penalties if this checkbox doesn’t appear.
I am going to desactivate the jetpack comments widget, I hope it’s possible, if it isn’t so, I will have to desactivate all the jetpack plugin.
Maybe one day, jetpack will upgrade with this possibility to put that compulsory checkbox imposed by the GDPR laws.Thank you for your time.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] commentsHello, thank you so much for your reply !
In fact, to be correct for the stantard with the new GDPR, to let a comment you are obliged to (you have to) tick the check box “I agree with the privicy policy”. And for now, you still can post a comment even if you didn’t. The text I see is “Enregistrer mon nom, mon e-mail et mon site web dans le navigateur pour mon prochain commentaire.”
To correspond with the new GDPR, it should be like this (if you did not tick the privicy policy checking box, you cannot post comment). I tryied severals extra plugins but they don’t work with my website.
