I recently ran across this issue, which included the same error message. Turning autoincrement on in for one of the tables in PHPMyAdmin solved the problem of not being able to create new posts. Made the error message go away. But now we are seeing an issue there we can’t set a feature image for a blog post. I’m wondering if another table needs to be configured.
The background on our situation is that I recently migrated the database for several client sites from an old version of MySQL to a new database using the current MySQL. I just exported a zip of the db and then imported it into the new empty db on the new version of MySQL. Haven’t seen any issues with the other sites.
Will do!
Yes, that resolves it! Many thanks from our team for the quick response and fix! Have a great week!
Thanks, Benjamin!

In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] No SupportMany plug-ins provide premium support beyond this basic forum, but we were frustrated to find many basic questions with no answers or threads that were closed. These are basic questions and are typical for an open source software ecosystem like WordPress.
We tried to adjust our review after the initial posts, but evidently they didn’t stick. We’ll try and change those again.

In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] Styling the pop-up info boxWe opted to directly edit the PHP files while we were waiting for an answer to this question. We really appreciate the work you’ve done with this plug-in. It looks like at some point, in an earlier version, there was dashboard support for the infobox styling. Why was this removed?

In reply to: [Broadcast] Images being switched during broadcastThanks! I will bring this up with the editors and see if the process is part of the issue. I should also mention that we are using a CDN network. I’ve kept that in mind while investigating and researching this problem.

In reply to: Displaying “alt” attribute text as captions? Thanks, Liam, for your thoughts on my question!
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Displaying “alt” attribute text as captions? No. All of the content from the old Drupal site has been migrated to a WordPress multisite install. So what we have is old content that was marked up in the old system, which is now a post (story//article) on the new sites. Most of the stories have images which contain the captions as attributes of the img code. See the above code for an example.
The old Drupal site was coded to display captions from images based on the text string set in the “alt” or “text” string in each image’s HTML code.
What I’m looking for is a solution for displaying that attribute text as a caption under the image with that code. So if the code for an image in the story has an alt attribute string of “Boats dash past the Charlotte Amalie waterfront…”, that text string would be displayed under that image. Something tells me this needs to involve functions.php and the single page template.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] Ads not showing after update 1.6.7This was working for us up until a week ago on our development site. We were supposed to launch this week, but this isn’t working.
Thanks! This gives me some avenues to explore. Nice plug-in, by the way!
