Also, if it’s not too much trouble, adding options for “this month” and “this year” would be super helpful as well. This is a huge upgrade IMO, I can’t believe TIME filtering does not exist in the block editor.

That’s awesome Ryan, and yes would work great for me. I think “last month” is pulling current month + last month, at least in my testing. I’m getting posts from June and May.

Cool, that would be super useful at least in my situation. I’m surprised this isn’t already a feature in the query loop block by WP, the ability to show posts by date – current month, last month, etc.

Yeah, I think with FSE there is no need for a child theme and there is no functions file. So… ??

Newer block themes do not have function.php files (such as Twenty Twenty-Three). Where would you alter or place the code?

The wordpress core blocks. When I added a new post type called “blog”, there is now a “blog_categories” core block. Just like the categories list block. Except no data is being pulled in https://rareview.d.pr/i/UT7XAp
