Theme looks good. Text is clear. Links are obvious. Page is a little wide for the computer I am using tonight.

Overall I like it.

edit: oh, comment on your blog about televisions. if you didn’t have a self-adjusting television, that wouldn’t happen… ??

I have had more than one instance of ‘oops no backups’ before.

These days I have lots of backups. And some of my backups have backups.

If you have some extra room, setup a sub-folder/sub-directory on your site and install wp in there. Use it as a test blog. That way it wont affect your live blog.

I unrared them. I like the drawings. If they wind up not fitting my sites, I can still use them as wallpaper for my laptop.

I can use irfanview to resize them.

for myself, a theme is broken if I install it correctly, no hacking by me, and I get a bunch of php and css error messages.

I feel that if I follow the install instructions and no errors show up when I view my site, the theme isn’t broken.

There are certain things I want displayed what ever theme I use, 2 or 3 columns, a monthly calendar, archives links; but all that is my resposibility to add to a theme that doesn’t have them. I wouldn’t expect the theme author to add those things for me after they presented the theme somewhere for download.

Of course, since I know very little php, and only a tiny bit of css, I would hope to find help on where to add such calls to the above, but if I break it, thats my fault.

I do understand free software doesn’t always come with paid for software level of support.

while the text and background are similar in color, they are far enough apart that my eyes can read it. Overall a good looking theme and blog.

Alot to quickly go through, but I like many of them. I can see me using several on my blog.

Too bad none of them have ad&d/everquest type middle ages adventures pictures… but I can use the one with the sand dune for that bog.

Some of them are so good I’ll likely go ahead and upgrade the rest of my 1.2.2 blogs to 1.5 to use with my drive-in movie theatre blog and my poetry blog.

I know nothing about php or mysql, yet by following those directions above I managed to get it to work.

I got it correct on my third try. So it is possible.

I backed up using the save under phpmyadmin to my home computer’s hard drive, then upgraded my fantastico install of 1.2 to 1.5 manually.

I probably mistepped a few times, but I finally got it to work.

Before I did it the third time in one night, I printed out the instructions for upgrade. Then manually checked them off as I did each step. That one worked.

Just letting you know that the upgrade will work eventually.

urf. I can somewhat read the red ‘titles’ at the top of the screen, the rest is very close to impossible to see.

I agree its easy to read. Doesn’t bother my retinas at all.

did you run update.php in the wp-admin folder ?

I like the Fall colors look to it.

looks okay to me. Some folks may think the border is ‘busy’ with the detail, but I don’t think so.
