I find the idea of stripping my active website of all plugins a rather unique way of solving the problem. Thanks for the article. But I solved it myself.

Just a suggestion for you. There is a shortcode plugin for the Event Calendar. If you install it, it will provide a section on your Add Event or Edit Event page that shows the shortcode for you to add to a page or post to include a specific event. At least, that is what is on my Add new or Edit page for individual events.

Oh, and I have cleared my Chrome cache, started a new browser session, and tried again.

I would like to add myself to scubamammas report here. Same on my event calendar.
