In reply to: [Join My Multisite] Show sub-site name vs. main nameNo problem. Thanks for thinking about it.
I hope to have lots of sub-sites (don’t we all!). Is there code I can put above the shortcode on the page that will automatically print the sub-site and main site names?

In reply to: [Join My Multisite] Show sub-site name vs. main nameThanks Mika, for your help.
They don’t mind being know as a part of the main site. They just want users to know that they are joining “their” site as well. So on the registration page and sign up welcome page, instead of:
“Create your account on MainSite”
How about:
“Create your account on subsite.mainsite.com”
or
“Create your account at SubSite on MainSite”Do you see what I’m getting at? I really appreciate your patience and help.

In reply to: [Join My Multisite] Show sub-site name vs. main nameHow about changing it to the sub-domain address? That way they get the name of the sub-site they have joined and the name of the main site. (Example: myblog.mainsite.com)
My sub-site admins are wanting some autonomy and their users to know they have joined “their” site.
Just asking.

In reply to: [Join My Multisite] admin activate usersThank you for the quick response. I also had the WPMU Dev Membership plugin installed but not activated. So I uninstalled it. I don’t have any other registration or login plugins installed.
As super admin, I am receiving an email to authorize the new user. When I give approval, an email is auto sent back to the new user with the login credentials.
Please confirm that for your plugin a new user is supposed to be auto approved and sent login credentials?

In reply to: [Join My Multisite] Two different username and password confirmation emailsMy bad. I used a username and email address that I had recently deleted. I tried another and it worked as it should.
Sorry!Same problem. Also, I was able to use the Callback URL, Consumer Key and the Consumer Secret, but I couldn’t figure out where to use the Access Token and an Access Token Secret.
Any help on either issue?
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: New Shopping Cart Plugin With Themes] Plugin or Theme? This plugin is soooo.. misleading. It says to install in the themes folder, and activate under Appearance, but it doesn’t work there – its a plugin! When activated as a plugin it puts a menu on the admin menubar. The first sub-menu tells you to download and install the “FREE” theme below, but there is no link to a free theme, only premium themes to purchase. The second sub-menu takes you to their premium themes page.
The themes look beautiful, but I don’t appreciate the bait and switch. Could someone direct me to the FREE theme for download?

In reply to: Collapsing Categories Plugin with IE 8.0Thanks esmi. I’ve checked it in other browsers and it seems to be an Internet Explore 8.0 problem. Which would be beyond my capability to fix.
P.S. Looks like there is a new 1.0 version to work only with WP 8.0. In case you are interested.
