This is a plugin to add fields to registration/profile form not for comments, that’s why it “doesn’t” work.

P.S. The plugin I’m currently using is CIMY User Extra Fields. It’s worked perfectly for me and I like it a lot, but how safe will my data be if it doesn’t work 10 years from now? I’m sure the data will stil be in there but I wouldn’t have a clue as to how to use it if the plugin stopped working.

Are you yelling at ME for asking about a general concern for the longterm stability of my data? This post wasn’t even about your plugin specifically.

Maybe you want to read again what you wrote? You start a FUD thread about my plug-in without knowing stuff and I cannot answer?

If you really are so paranoid about data and “psycho people”, I tell you what is the best solution:
– switch off your computer
– never use electronic payments
– close your bank account
– do not use phones
– escape from cities and live in the nature

If you haven’t done it yet, I am sorry, you have to rely every single second on code written by whatever person that can be psycho or not, but still you don’t know what will do with your data in the future.

More in detail:
if the code is open source
if there is a way to export to a known format your data

then prefer that, or again, write your own stuff, always best!

so you have proven you are just little ignorant and also a miser boor.
Now start writing your own code and then let’s see what you can do or just be thankful for all authors of free software that let you write freely what you write without spending one euro.

You need to study the difference between:
– defects
– errors
– warnings
– bugs

You encountered warnings and complaining like they are defects or even worse bugs.
This is not the case, if you encounter real bugs then tell me how to reproduce them.
Plug-in works perfectly until someone reproduces a real defect and communicates to me.
This is another FUD thread.

Developer just doesn’t answer to people not reading the FAQ and wasting his time.
Blame yourself.

I have also developed Cimy User Manager plug-in to export your data in CSV format, I really dislike users that are so paranoid to be completely blind and also start FUD related topics.

Also the plug-in is 100% open-source and under GPL license means that everyone can take it and modify it when they want!
Maybe you just want to write your own stuff instead of complaining of many hours spent without getting one single euro from you!

Those are debug information, set debug flag to false under wp-config.php and live in peace.

Oh it works for me, but I will try to understand why for you doesn’t work and will roll out v3.0.3 soon with a fix.

Since Cimy User Manager v0.9.0 I broke compatibility with WP 2.5.x

And btw:
in v2.0.0 this description has been removed since the “bug” is fixed.

And btw2:
v2.0.0 is for WP 3.0.x only.

I do not get why people go for the hard way instead of the easy way.
Go to Cimy User Extra Fields admin panel -> WordPress fields -> PASSWORD -> delete the description -> save.

Ah come on, this is NOT the regular registration. why you didn’t mention it?!?
It skips because all the other fields do NOT have tabindex attribute set. Cimy User Extra Fields does instead.

So tell the author of the other plugin that permits you to do what you do to set it.

Which browser? version of the plugin? WordPress version?
It is not reproducible for me, so a more complete bug report on how to reproduce the bug is needed.
