    Hi Dejan,

Currently I am running 2 websites who are linked to the hypesocial plugin and in both of these websites only 1 twitter account has been connected.

Every time I check the box the accounts tab, and then save/update it simply unchecks.
that said, on the other website, the checkmark does stay put BUT it hasnt buffered anything ever since the 1st/2nd of February either

This is what the folks at buffer had to say:

    Hey there!

Thanks for reaching out and I’d love to help. Taking a peek at your account, the Twitter profile is connected well and I don’t see any immediate issues here. I wonder if the folks over at HYPESocial have any other information they could share as to what the problem seems to be? I’ll be standing by to learn more!

    Warmly,
    Jess

Also, when simply adding posts to buffer via buffer.com itself it seems to be working just fine.

So I am currently kind of landing in between two companies so it seems ?? neither one of them seems to know what the issue is. Thanks for looking into this a little further. I will try and debug some more when I find the time but it is very time-consuming and risky with a live website attached to it.

Do you perhaps have a list of plugins that are known to perhaps interfere with this plugin?

Hmmm, I notice, in the “accounts” app, everytime I try to chekc the bix for twitter and then update, it doesnt save the checkbox. is this why it doesnt work anymore?
I have tried with some other apps connecting to buffer and those seem to work alright… Maybe buffer doesnt support this app anymore through their api’s?

As mentioned in the previous reply of Eric, this one-line change in the file solves the issues some might come across with the latest version of tubepress. Thanks for the quick fix!

Couldn’t PM you on the forum so I left a message as a thread on the tubepress forum. greetings.

Hi there, thanks for your reply, I have just read the other portion of your comment in the other thread and I fully understand the lower priority, if it seems to work on the majority of wordpress installations. I currently am a bit out of time, but I can provide you with some sort of test-platform in 24h. Obviously I am not too eager to give someone FTP access to my shared hosting account, but I will provide further details in private on https://community.tubepress.org/ . At the moment all is still working well in the previous version of this plugin so it is a bit of a lower priority now in comparison with two hours ago ;). So in short: more details tomorrow and I hope we can find a solution in the long run!

Good to know about “simple youtube” might decide to go with that one when I find the time to reorganize ?? I just downgraded to an older tubepress plugin for now that I know works without the cURL error. Problem is, this is the second time I ran into trouble with this plugin, and it has impacted my visitors at both times which is not something I like to see happening. Either way, I have started a new “thread” because this issue is in no way resolved and should be looked into further by the tubepress developers. Granted, I am not a paying tubepress user so the support can be very minimal but I assume this also has an impact on those who do pay for the pro version of this plugin.

New updated version does not have the option of “deactivate cURL” no more so please, do not update to the newer version if you want your playlists to keep on working
