In reply to: [WooCommerce] WP 4.4 – "You are not allowed to manage these items."Confirmed that it still exists. Not sure why you guys don’t take these things seriously. People being unable to edit attributes is something you should be testing before an official release.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Variable prices coming up free after upgrade to 2.4Can you explain how this changes the way woocommerce interacts with variations? My programmatically added variations no longer register the pricing on products.
Basically, is there any mechanism within the plugin for a user to edit any PHP file or add any code that will then be executed. In a multisite environment you don’t want individual site owners to have access to PHP for security’s sake.
Hey there – in a multisite environment administrators have access to the plugin, yet we still don’t want them to be able to add any PHP code or edit any PHP files as they are not super site admins.

In reply to: [Ultimate Coming Soon Page] Safe for multisite? (no PHP execution?)Hi John,
Thanks for the quick response. So just to confirm – there is no way for someone to add PHP code within the plugin so it is executed on the server, yes?
I just want to confirm this as it is a security issue. thanks.

In reply to: Alternative to WPMU Pro-Sites?I’m currently using Pro sites after a lot of customization, so I’m wondering if upgrading it will break my system now. Even more problems!

In reply to: Alternative to WPMU Pro-Sites?I don’t agree, whatsoever, with the notion of buying open source software from rebranders. The site you are linking to is NOT official WPMU Dev and accordingly is trying to make money off other people’s work – it is totally unclear that they aren’t the same company due to the purposeful ambiguity in their name.
Shame, shame, shame. It doesn’t matter how bad or good any piece of software is – in my opinion, purchasing open source software at a discount from parties not affiliated with the developers is piracy.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Related products totally unrelatedI have read that, but say most of the products are not categorized – the related products do not seem to be using tags at all.
I’m really breaking my mind trying to solve this. Any help would be appreciated.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] URGENT: max_related_posts_query – Extremely slow, please helpSo I have confirmed now that this is actually running the entire related products query, which is what is causing the problem.

In reply to: Multisite from – change 'from' globallyYeah, I’m pretty happy with the method that mail is sent out (through mandrill) and so I don’t need SMTP. Also, what individual sites on the multisite can change is not really the focus here.
What I need is a core change where ALL emails sent out from the multisite are sent from [email protected], with the previous ‘from’ tag being put in the ‘reply-to’ tag.
This way, when people reply to any emails sent from the server, it will go to the correct address. However, as the from address will resolve to the IP it was sent from, it will minimize spam issues.

In reply to: Alternative to WPMU Pro-Sites?I’ve had nothing but problems with literally every single one of the plugins they have. Every single one seems to have unforseen quirks and bugs, and every time you put a support request in they have generic responses.
