I emptied the trash just now and will report back what happens. I left the folder in the trash can because the hosting company was trying to figure out what processes the file was doing to overwork the CPU. They don’t know how the file is being executed because when they access the file, it shuts down its processes as if someone knows when the file is being accessed.
Then it starts back up. Either someone programmed a smart file, or someone is physically managing the file remotely.
I have not re-installed WordFence yet because what’s the point if someone was able to shut down the plugin? Maybe they will do it again.

In reply to: [DW Question & Answer] Why DW Question & Answer Plugin Shows Security Issue.I got the same type of message. Wordfence alerted me that the plugin was removed from WordPress directory for security reasons.
I have the plugin disabled right now.

This was the response I got from my support ticket, then he marked the ticket as resolved, and doesn’t allow me to respond.
So I responded via email, letting him know this is not a banner on the admin control panel. It’s in public view, to visitors of my site.
I don’t have a problem with developers making money. Why push a free version of Rank Math, and then start putting up a banner to the public visitors of our sites without warning us? Where do I shut down that public banner? And why did you close the support ticket without even asking me for the screenshot so you can see there is no way to dismiss this banner?

Miguel 2 hours, 28 minutes ago Hello, Thank you for contacting Rank Math today. That’s a marketing banner that can be easily dismissed and will only show after you’ve been using the Free plugin for some time. Although we would love to keep the plugin free for all, we need to fund the costs of development and support and as such, we rely on paid subscriptions. If you feel that a simple dismissable banner is enough to switch plugins, we respect the decision and hope that you get all the desired results with Yoast SEO. ??????Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have questions about any other topics related to our plugin.
This thread came up in a Google search I did because WPFORMS is not stopping spam at all. I have tried the Google spam blocker and WPF’s own hCaptcha, and have increased the protection and nothing is working.
I just got an email from a client and it’s non stop for them as well. I removed my contact form from my own site.
What is going on? How are bots able to bypass security?

In reply to: [Caldera Forms - More Than Contact Forms] Conflict with WordPress version 5.6I was just about to submit a ticket about Caldera getting broken with new WordPress update, and I found this post.
I would like to add the following to the list in case no one else has mentioned it.
1. Forms won’t clone.
2. Forms won’t export. If you click on either link, the screen goes a little dim, and that’s all that happens. It sits like that until you click your monitor, then the color returns to normal, but nothing happened to the forms.

In reply to: [SendPress Newsletters] Buyer beware! No support for pro versionIt seems you should have something installed that notifies your customer, on their WordPress dashboard) that their license is expired. My customer didn’t get a message. Instead, she has 4,000 subscribers who were complaining that they didn’t get notifications when she posted.
Can you look into something like that? I even went to her Web site to see what the problem was, and there was NOTHING telling her she needed to renew a license. It just said there was an error.
I will be happy to change my review if you can figure out a better customer support system. When a person’s account is shut down and they can’t log in to your support, and they have to use the free form, only to get no response, does not seem fair.

In reply to: [SendPress Newsletters] Buyer beware! No support for pro versionPerhaps there was no other choice. My client couldn’t log in, and couldn’t access the pro site, and tried to reset the password, but it wasn’t working. No email showed up and she tried more than once. You have no phone support, so that was the only way I could get your attention.

In reply to: Where did the edit menu go? Replaced with blocksI have Elementor installed as a free version. Looks like I will become a paid member of their editor. Or, is WordPress going to screw that option up as well?

In reply to: Cell phone key pad disappears before typing can be doneFrontier looks pretty good but it’s nothing like Atahualpa. I really hope someone picks up that project and brings it up to date.
I suppose if I play around with Frontier more, I might like it better but I’ve used Atahualpa for countless years. I can’t imagine having to replace it.

In reply to: Cell phone key pad disappears before typing can be doneT P, I listed what I have. Membership 2 (downloaded from WPMU DEV site. Yes, I know the theme is outdated and have talked with the developer about it. I’m not ready to give up the theme yet as I’m hoping someone will take over the theme, or he will switch it over to a paid subscription.
I’m looking for support that someone may know what to do to make it work on an Android.

In reply to: Cookies blocked or not supportedIt didn’t work either way. I tried leaving both lines there, then tried commenting out the first line so only your line showed.
Same errors.
I think I’m going to take the domain off the mapping and make it its own Web site.

In reply to: Cookies blocked or not supportedI opened the file and found this. Should I remove the line and put yours there?
