I see.. how can a new site manage to trigger the auto update? Do I have to update the table manually first and wait for the site to get about a handful of regular visitors for the trigger to happen? Because currently the site is getting about 2 visitors? me (the admin) and a friend. ??

Hello Tobias I am sorry if I am asking question after question. But I think my Auto update extension isn’t working.

I have the URL that points directly to a csv file. I even imported a table using the URL import method and it worked with the same URL. Now I also used the said URL in the auto update configuration and 23 mins have passed not even a single auto update triggered.

Any thoughts on how to check what is the problem?

Hello again Tobias! Can you perhaps add a force update button that the user can press? Is that doable? Also, I think I need the auto updating to be lesser than 15 mins if possible ??

Additional question that is completely unrelated to my previous one. I can’t seem to make the Import from URL work.

I am pasting the URL taken from the Download button of a file in my dropbox can this be done? It’s a CSV file that can be downloaded in my dropbox account.

Hello! sorry If I am asking in this thread but I think it’s kind of relevant. I wanted to import a csv file from a dropbox URL.

I am inputting the direct download link of the file from my dropbox and I inputted it in the file from URL part inside the import tab. But I always get an error that says the file is invalid or cannot be accessed or something.

I got the link by going to the public URL of the file in my dropbox and I right clicked the download button and copied the link. Is this the URL that I need?

Where can I find the search textfield codes though? Is it in js/datatables?
