Most issues worked out.
Looks like the plugin WP-Optimize is not compatible with this. I’m just going to use another plugin which is. Mega Menu is more worth it.

Update.

Worked further on the issue and noticed in my page inspection that there was “wpo-minify” that google search led me to a plugin called “WP-Optimize”.

I have deactivated the plugin and some parts of the Mega menu updates.

Will see what setting in that plugin is causing this issue and what other issues i can get resolved within the Mega Menu plugin.
