Unfortunately, we cannot replicate this issue. As explained, the only thing I can suggest to you is to update the plugins separately to avoid the files conflict.
First, deactivate WooCommerce PayPal Payments and Subscription and then update WooCommerce.
Next, update WooCommmerce PayPal Payments and Subscription while they are deactivated.
After that, activate WooCommerce PayPal Payments and then activate the Subscription plugin (one by one). If the error occurs again, with this procedure we can understand better what is happening.

What is the issue? What do you mean it stopped working?
YITH WooCommerce Subscription supports only “PayPal Standard” and “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” for automatic renewals. Cash on delivery isn’t a supported gateway.

Have you tried to deactivate the Subscription plugin first?
Maybe you are using a very old version and it produces a conflict of missing files due to this big difference.

Unfortunately, the attempts doesn’t depend on the Subscription plugin as the subscription is managed by PayPal with a Billing Agreement. In any case you should check if something can be configured in the PayPal side but I’m afraid it’s not possible.

The Subscription plugin supports PayPal Standard (discontinued) and WooCommerce PayPal Payment plugins for automatic renewals. If you use any other payment method plugin, it won’t be able to automatically renew.

I just made a test on my local installation and I cannot reproduce this issue.
Please try to test with all plugins deactivated except WooCommerce and Pre-order and use a default WordPress theme.

Sorry, but that is part of the Premium version of the plugin, that shouldn’t be displayed in the free version, it’s a mistake. It will be corrected in the next release of the plugin.

By default, it must change the label to the Add To Cart buttons in other pages such as the home page or the shop page. Maybe there is a conflict with your theme or some other plugin.

I suggest you deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and Pre-order and activate a default WordPress theme to rule out a conflict.
