After consulting with our tech team they state the following:

The “Cheatin’ Huh?” is a popular phrase to use in WordPress world when the handshake between the frontend code and backend code do not match; this is a security measure not a compromised site.

It could possibly be a conflict with another plugin. In these situations it is recommended to disable all plugins (except SnapID) and test if you still get the message. If you do not get the message and the plugin works as it should, then the issue is with another plugin. At that point, enable your other plugins one by one testing each time. Once you get the error message again, you know which plugin is causing the issue.

Please test this and let us know the result.

The code you are seeing “Cheatin’ Huh?” is not TextPower’s. We have never had nor seen that code in the SnapID plugin. We can only assume that your site has been compromised.

Please deactivate and then delete the SnapID plugin. Then download it directly from the WordPress plugin library and install it.

At the same time we will investigate whether the actual plugin code has been somehow compromised.

Thanks again for your patience. While we are unable to reproduce the problem we do have an update to the plugin ready for distribution. We think it might fix the issue. Would you like to give it a shot before we distribute it publicly?
