I am in the US and this just started today on a site that I am building that need to go live before January 1st. Need to know if there is a fix ASAP, so I don’t freak out the client.

Or should I start looking for a different widget to use instead?

on your post or page – just click on the “text” tab, rather than the visual editor. You put all the html code there.

I use either the jetpack custom css module, or there is one under the Albar settings. Just paste the code in there.

Fixed I think. Used code above and also:

.site-top-bar-left a {
display: none;
}

Deleted the widget everywhere, even in “inactive” and tried again. Same result. ??

Yes, the problem persists. I deactivated almost every other plugin, changed the theme to another one I have used with this jetpack feature with no issue on other sites, flushed the cache, and re-installed jetpack…twice.

I also just put the google embed in on the front page, …just in case, but I’d really like to be able to use the jetpack map and details instead.

No matter what address I use, I get “Sorry. We can not plot this address. A map will not be displayed. Is the address formatted correctly?”

Yes. That box is checked. It gives me a message in red that the address can’t be plotted and is formatted incorrectly? It did work before. Very odd.
