In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Your sitemap appears to be html (error)Hey Ravan! Thanks for taking time out!
I Deactivated the ‘data archives’ and now its showing me all the URL’s again. I deleted the sitemap in GSC and added it again. The error is still there though. I guess Google has to crawl my sitemap again for the error to dissappear?
The reason i dont use the sitemap feature in SEOPress ia because i dont like the Google News sitemap function. It didnt show me any details, like language, date of publication and if there is a image included. The feature is just there, without any valuable additions. On the other side, you are an experienced sitemap developer, with new updates coming regularly. And its lightweight. So i just stick with yours ??
Btw, you also do SEO/website/pagespeed optimazation?

I set out a support ticket at SEOPress. I use the PRO version. I also think SEOPress is in play here. Curious. I will let you know Ravan.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Your sitemap appears to be html (error)Hey Ravan!
Can i send the URL to you by email? Or is there another way to send it? I dont want the URL out here in the forum. Thank you.
Btw, when i click on sitemap-posttype-post.2018.xml and 2017 it brings me straight to the homepage. I think thats not a good thing, right? When i click on pages, it brings me to all my pages.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Little text error in pluginExactly, its being ignored.
Ow i didnt knew Google fully removed it at all, but that makes total sense.I discovered myself. I tried to give every article a different genre, but the genres didnt pop up in the SERPS (Google News database). So i asked a Google News employe and he said they dont work anymore. You can add one genre by default in the Google News Publisher Centre and then that label will pop up for all articles. For example the Dutch police force. They have set it to ‘press release’ and all articles have that genre. Look https://www.google.nl/search?q=politie.nl&source=lnms&tbm=nws&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjwodzyh8rcAhUFK1AKHV8IDyMQ_AUICygC&biw=1366&bih=635.
You also dont see the different genres pop up at other newsmedia websites. Just look it up for yourself. Its to bad, because i think the function has a lot of value.
The editors picks feature is still active i believe yes.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Little text error in pluginHey RavanH,
Sorry for the late response. I missed this one.
Good to hear it will be fixed in the next update! ??
Ow nice. I can do some translations for you on this plugin in Dutch. What do i need to translate? How does that work?
Btw, i believe the categories (opinion, press release, satire ect) dont work anymore per article in Google News. I think you can only set/use it for all articles at once. I tried it, but it just dont work. What do you know about this?

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] AMP page not loading all Tweets@Mohammedkaludi
It just say the author and how many hours ago the article is published. For example ‘5 hours ago’. As you see, also stated partly in English, while the ‘By’ and the ‘hour’ lines is translated in Dutch and says ‘Door’ and ‘uur’, which is good. So the translation dont seem to work properly. Its mixed up. Please help.

Why should i not cach my AMP pages? And how can i exclude them?
Can you give me the code of the filter, please?
Also, i dont see a specific date in my articles on AMP pages. I just see ‘One day ago’ or ‘Two months ago’. I wanna see a specific date. This was the case when i started using the plugin, but not it seems to be gone. Any idea?
Thanks!
