In reply to: [Amazon Associates Link Builder] Remove “Products from Amazon.co.uk”Thanks Sascha.
You’d think they’d leave it blank in the first place.
And that there would be an easy way to have products in a widget using the plugin.
Off to clone and investigate other amazon plugins

In reply to: [Widget for Social Page Feeds] Plugin Crashes Widget PageI am having the same problem. I have version 2.2 and if I have the plugin activated then my widget page is completely broken

In reply to: [Awesome Flickr Gallery] Awesome Flickr Gallery Error – SSL is requiredSo just to clarify, v3.3.6 is “broken” now, v3.3.5 on WordPress isn’t the right one either and we need v3.5 that isn’t on WordPress and we get it somewhere else?
Is that right? Just double checking as I have more that one site using the plugin and want the quickest way to fix the issue.

In reply to: [Testimonials Widget] Quote marks in testimonials (yep another one!)I’m clearly missing something. I read FAQ13 before posting
This is the additional code I’ve added to my css file to try to remove the quotes and successfully change the color
/* Begin Additional CSS Styles */
.testimonialswidget_testimonial .testimonialswidget_open_quote:before, .testimonialswidget_testimonial .testimonialswidget_close_quote:after {
content: none;
}
.testimonialswidget_testimonial q {
color: #a52ea1;
}.testimonialswidget_testimonial cite {
color: #aa8cc0;
}/* End Additional CSS Styles */
I def have the most upto date version of the plugin as when I logged on today it told me there was an update available
Did you put the short code on the page you want the slider to be on?
you need to specify the width of the slide in the short code eg
[promoslider category=”home” width=”710px”]Yeah, I’ve done it the custom menu way. Which works for me in so much as I’m organised and remember to add new events to my menus.
But there are 4 other people who set up events and they keep forgetting to do the menu bit. (My site organises events in 5 different locations and each location has its own page so needs to list events for just that one location)How do I build a widget to do that Radmacdaddy?
The category post one doesn’t list event categories?I need this too! I run a site that organises 5 events a month at 5 different locations. When events are added they are assigned a category but I can’t see anything I can do to list all events in a particular category.
