In reply to: [Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types] Not creating new postHi @speechless,
Glad to hear it!
It might not show as an existing custom field until there is data using that field.
If that’s the case, you can enter it as a new custom field as long as the meta key matches what’s in ACF.
I’m going to go ahead and mark this topic as resolved since the original question was answered.

In reply to: [Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types] Not creating new postHi Martin,
Great question!
I’d probably go about it one of two ways:
1. Use a Post Title field and make it your “Name” field by changing the label
2. Utilize a plugin such as Gravity Forms Copy Cat which can copy the contents of the Name field into the Post Title field. After you verify that Copy Cat is working, you can set the visibility of the Post Title field to hidden.Forum: Plugins

Good call! We’ll get that released in the next update that goes out.

Sorry for the trouble!
I’m having a tough time reproducing this particular issue. Do you mind sharing what PHP version your site is running?

This particular plugin is free. Are you referring to Gravity Perks by chance?
I see that some of the strings in Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types are internationalized, but not all of them. Is there a particular section that you would like us to internationalize first?
Hi all,
I looked into this, it looks like the Advanced Post Creation add-on expects a term name rather than a term ID.
This plugin is designed to only provide a term ID as the value. We’re not planning on adding direct support for the Advanced Post Creation add-on at this time, but we do have a robust plugin called Populate Anything that you can use to populate field choices with Taxonomy Terms. Best of all, you can customize exactly what is used in the choice value and choice label.
Also worth noting: when populating choices with this plugin (Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types), the choices will be reset to the taxonomy terms whenever you save the form.

@tderkowski Feel free to e-mail me a form export (JSON) to [email protected] and I can take a quick look to see if I can reproduce the issue with the export.
