Thank you for your reply. All updates for all plugins, including Jetpack, are already turned off, and that wasn’t changed by another plugin. I did some searching on the Web and it turns out the Jetpack and WordPress got together and did this as a “forced” update and there’s no way to stop it from happening. A lot of other people are upset about it. So, I figure either there’s nothing we can do about it or someone will convince Jetpack and WordPress that it’s a bad idea. Thanks!
