I have it running on a small multisite, and it seems okay, but a client of mine is having issues on their multisite. When they activated a new subsite, the subsite was inaccessible until I disabled this plugin through FTP. Here is the error that it produced;

PHP Fatal error: Class ‘GA_Admin’ not found in /wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/googleanalytics.php on line 1583

I understand that this error may have been specific to their site, but I would like an official word on running google-analytics-for-wordpress on multisite.

I’m seeing this same error message when creating a new subsite in a clients multisite installation. The only way to get the new subsite to work was to remove the plugin via FTP.

I use this plugin and my GA stats only update once per day, perhaps (I don’t know for sure) this plugin is intentional designed that way to reduce the load on your server.

Google Analytics tracks genuine websites visits, not bots and crawlers, but your host probably does track these.
