With respect, whilst I really like SmartForms and have been ‘with you’ for a few years, there are still minor irritations that have never been fixed, like the Captcha box showing in Spanish and it being tricky to get separation between elements in a row (sometimes the fields have no gap), and the uploads feature not actually controlling the file extensions that can be uploaded properly. As long as I’ve been using SmartForms these have been an issue, and because you make it so hard to get support or communicate (presumably because you have a family and are so busy) we, your paying customers, just get fed up trying.

I appreciate you responding and committing to fixing the issues.

The problem is links from the pop-up notification in WP do not work.

Where the pop-up says “If you have a license of smart forms get an equivalent version for free!” but it goes to a 404.

Also, if you click the All In One Forms link under the logo it goes to the Spanish WordPress page https://es-mx.www.ads-software.com/plugins/all-in-one-forms/

If I upgrade, you don’t say if existing SmartForms will work or have to be changed/remade etc…?

I think @tobiasbg is becoming a legend in his own lifetime for the level and speed of support he provides so I’m really grateful for the help.

For the recor,d I’ve tried half a dozen table plugins for my project and only TablePress works smoothly, consistently and does exactly what you expect it to, whereas some of the others out there are trying to be good with fancy interfaces but are poorly implemented and seem to result in inconsistent/erratic behaviour.

Of all the pop-up plugins I’ve tried too only Popup Maker actually does what it says on the tin. It’s my fault entirely for missing the setting that Tobias found, not Popup Maker’s as it’s very clear and obvious in the Popup editor, I just hadn’t thought to look there.

Thanks for your input @danieliser, it’s good to hear even more improvements are on the way to what is already an excellent and highly recommended plugin.

    Hi Tobias,

Really appreciate the response, thank you.

    I tried using:
    [table id=1 responsive=scroll cache_table_output=false /]
    and
    [table id=1 cache_table_output=false /]

but this didn’t solve the problem.

I’m afraid I can’t post a link to the page because it is public and this project has to remain private until launch.

I appreciate you may not want to post your email address here but if you could contact me at [email protected] I will send you the link and access to Admin if needs be.

    Many thanks,

    Clive
