I’m on version 1.6.2 and cleared all caches manually and stilt the page breaks when I minify the inline JS. I’m not really into regex stuff, but I can see that both patterns select a closing script tag (just the “>”). Is this right?

Thanks for the update. After some testing, I still get an “Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘if'” error when I activate the inline minification.

Interesting! Thanks for finding that so quickly! It seems this is somehow theme related and obviously a bug in the theme which only occurs when I have more than one slider element on a page. I will open a ticket there too.

If I deactivate the include CSS and JS in minification, it works. If I include inline CSS and JS in the minification the page breaks. The error occurs on page https://cloudshift.de, but I have deactivated the option including CSS and JS for now, as it is a live site. Normal HTML minification still is active.

You’re right Tim! ManageWP does a security backup prior to any plugin update, so we normally can do a restore in seconds. But obviously not in this special case. We will definitely investigate further and adapt our process.

Did it! Thanks again. I’m pretty sure now it’s a WP CDN problem. Maybe not all files are distributed to all locations or so.

First hint. My quick guess it’s that there is a problem with the WP update service. When I download the plugin and install it manually it works. It seems that when updating through the WP interface many files are missing and could not be downloaded so the websites crash after a while. Maybe a CDN problem. Updates on some sites in the US seems to work so, but problems in Europe!

Thanks for the quick answer. After the plugin update it’s even impossible to restore backups from ManageWP or even access any of the websites from the service. For now, we’re doing recoveries from local backups. This will take some hours. I will test the next days what happened but as it has the same effect on different themes and websites there must be a problem with this update. We’re using NGINX servers with PHP 4 and will investigate later.

Same Problem! I used this PlugIn for years but now it’s not an option anymore. Some clients even destroyed their DBs. Any ideas for an alternative?

Well but still it does! There is no featured image and not even a box to add one because I hide it via CSS and still I got the error message of your plugin for all pages and nobody could save a page anymore. We’re using an NGINX server if this might be an issue.
