I see this as well, in both the free and Pro versions.

I find that the slider does not cut off image tops in mobile view but it does do so in a regular desktop size browser. I try to leave empty room at the top and bottom of the photos to compensate for this.

Another tip, the demo photo that comes with the Ares free theme has a particular size and aspect ratio. it still gets cut off (as you’ve found out), but it is a good starting point for photo sizing/cropping.

I understand, however the support page does not appear to be working, and there is no alternative contact method listed other than this forum.

@jan I posted my two questions here because I wasn’t sure that the support tickets on @smartcat’s website went through (and there was no alternative contact medium), and because the technical question here is also relevant to the free theme Ares, referred to here.

So you’re saying I can request those links to be removed from google, and then, say, resubmit my sitemap and have google recrawl? Would that work? I have a pretty good crawl rate, I think.

No I mean the old links are still in google. If Google indexed all my pages, why would it still have the old URLs for the old website pages, even though it has new meta info…and any new page shows up with the correct URL…
