In reply to: [Blighty Explorer] "No Access" on UploadI wasn’t sure the iThemes plugin should affect the upload since the upload is to a dropbox account rather than any of the folders within the WP installation. However, to be sure, I deactivated the iThemes Security plugin; that eliminated the issue.
I’m not sure what the interaction is. It may be worth on your end to investigate further and to document compatibility issues with Bligthy and the iThemes plugin.
For me, the issue is resolved though.

In reply to: [Blighty Explorer] "No Access" on UploadThat doesn’t appear to be it. As a user with Editor privileges, the subfolders do not appear as expected. Changing all privileges back to Anonymous/All – subfolders are not available. Permissions overall do not appear to be working.
I’ve done as much testing and troubleshooting as I can do, I think.

In reply to: [Blighty Explorer] "No Access" on UploadTrying to troubleshoot this. I changed the setting to “Allow uploads to Dropbox when the WordPress user is not logged in:” — I’m now able to upload.
Seems like a permissions issue of some sort associated with the account or the configuration of the site.
I’m wondering and will be exploring if it’s an interaction with the iThemes Security plugin. Though since the upload is to a dropbox account and not to a WP folder, I’m not sure why the iThemes Security plugin would preclude the upload.

Update resolved this issue.

In reply to: [Blighty Explorer] "No Access" on UploadI installed the update – hoping it might fix this issue as well. It did not.

In reply to: [Blighty Explorer] "No Access" on UploadFurther, I had checked all of the user levels to be applied to the folder(s), in case that was it.

In reply to: [Blighty Explorer] "No Access" on UploadThat wasn’t the issue. I was logged in with an administrator account. Still received “No Access.”

Same issue.
“Create Database Backup” appears to run successfully and generates message, “Backup Completed and emailed to backup recipients.”
However, no email received. No backup created in default /wp-content/uploads/ithemes-security/backups folder. Tried CHMOD to 750 and 777 as noted in various threads. No change.
Manually created /wp-content/ithemes-security/backups folder with permissions. No change.
Am hesitant to continue installing plugin without backup running as it should.
