Hi I have been working with Essential Addons developers who have now made some changes to the EA gallery so that it works with your shortcode. The latest EA update contains these changes and now the review short code does work within the gallery.

Tried the new shortcodes and read your change log but they dont seem to work for me. Do I need to enable something else aswell as use the shortcodes?

Ive sent a screen shot to your email account but I get “***** Be the first to write a review” where the average rating is shown above the comments section and where ever the short code is placed if there has been no reviews. The previous version just didnt show anything so there a way to edit the “Be the first to write a review” text or just remove the stars and text comletely like the previous version?

The site is currently only in staging whilst i build it. but i have taken a screenshot of where im trying to add the average star rating. Do you have an email address I can send it to so you can see what im trying to acheive.

Hi Fahid, Thanks for the reply but where do i need to place the shortcode? Placing it in the Elementor Shortcode or HTML widget doesnt work and where I would ideally like to place it in the gallery item description box this doesnt do anything either. Does this shortcode then need to be added by editing the page file directly and not via wordpress / elementor? also as there isnt a unique identifier in the shortcode then how can i use this to display lots of different average star ratings for different locations that appear in the gallery page.

Hi, Im using Elementor Astra and have a Gallery with a photo and title of a location which is then linked to another page that has further details where comments can be left and your star rating selected. Can this average star rating be put on the first page where the gallery is next to the title or can it only be duplicated on the same page that contains the comments form. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your help
