Am in exactly the same boat. I provided login details for iThemes, then I was advised to contact the hosting provider in which I did, and had the same response that the hosting is not the issue.

I then went down the exact path of ordering MemberPress for what we needed. I have also had to use EDD for part of the function we needed in which iThemes Exchange could do but MemberPress couldn’t.

The ideal scenario would be that I could have used iThemes exchange. However they didn’t login and adjust the plugin in a way that I could use it. Every time I pressed the quick setup I would be taken to the page not found. Almost like it didn’t get to complete the setup function and possibly timed out. Then again it was really for the developers of Exchange to assist in the issue.

I will setup an environment for them to recheck the issue. Hopefully they respond and we can use TPP and exchange in unison.

Hi Elise. I will create a new site over the weekend, install the complete pack on the site I will then send you login details and you will see that it does not go through the quick setup feature. This is the only reason we moved to edd and not my preferred option of exchange

I am in the same boat as you. I have purchased the full kit and kaboodle, and now finding it does not work on a very bog standard hosting platform such as TPP. They do not really have any issues with hosting on any of my sites except the one with Exchange.

Did you send in any support ticket to iThemes and ask them to get it working? Did they offer any solution to this? Did you contact TPP about the issue? If so what was the technical issue with it not working.

I have sent in a support ticket to iThemes exchange yesterday, but not heard back yet. I would hope I can hear from them at least by this evening or tomorrow morning.

Sorry that wpbpdev finds this so terrible to have made a review of 1 star. This is more powerful that you could imagine. I came across from another framework that is meant to be the best, and it is far from close to what is available here by miunsoft.

The documentation and tutorials seem to be updated so quickly, and are fairly simple to follow. Like any framework there is a level of learning that is expected, and why not ask the questions in the github repo if there is something that you are completely stuck on, a donation goes a long way when you really need that extra bit of explanation of something that isn’t seeing to work for you.

I have very little understanding of OOP, yet I am digging in and getting through it piece by piece. This is one of the sharpest tools in my toolbox right now.

Do you have a repo so I can fork it for my own use? I see some issues with Slate and Custom post types that have custom meta boxes. I will like to fork this to remove the right box shadow, add my own has children state, and active item.

Yes I think that is what I am looking for. I am used to using ReduxFramework which has quite an advanced compiler. My guess right now is that the minifier is what might be happening.

I have started to look through your other answers that you gave me a few minutes ago, and I will be looking at embedding the framework into a theme. With the above answer am I to understand that I cannot have tabbed sections in metaboxes in pages / posts / CPT’s without installing the demo plugin?

You can simply download this plugin and it will help you customise the backend experience for your client further. A simple solution to what you are wanting to do, and not needed to be added to Slate at all.

Is this on a repo that we can maintain? Seems the only thing to be updated on this is support for 3.9 onwards since the change of media uploader.
