In reply to: [Widget Builder] [Plugin: Widget Builder] Cannot modify header informationI’m not sure I understand your follow up comment. Are you not defining WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file already? I’m not sure I understand what you asking if it is a good decision?
Thank you for the screenshots, I have identified a possible solution for this issue and will release a new version soon to fix the issue along with some more minor enhancements.
Can you take a screenshot to show me what you are seeing? if the widget is deleted through the widget builder it should be deregistered as an available widget. I will double check on this. In the meantime, after taking a screenshot, can you click the header of the widget block in the sidebar and drag it off the sidebar? That should have the same effect as clicking “delete” within a widget instance.
Thank you for sending along those plugin links – I have installed them on my dev environment and am testing compatibility. I will update here once I find a fix or bug.
it looks like the social share plugin might be calling the_content() which could conflict with this plugin – any chance you can link to which social share plugin you are using so I can take a look at their code?
I’m glad this helped you out! If you don’t mind selecting “Works” for your version of WP/Plugin in order to let folks know the support data.

This comes from your site running PHP 5.2 – I am working on a fix to make this backward compatible to PHP 5.2 this weekend. In the meantime please revert to version 1.3. Let me know if https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/widget-builder.1.3.zip does not work for you and I can send you a copy of my local repo reverted to v1.3.
No ETA – I’ll have to reconfigure my dev instance to support PHP 5.2 – I hope to do it this weekend but may be beginning of the week before I can dedicate a few minutes to testing.
Glad it’s working again for you – will update this forum once resolved.
