go to Skins page -> find skin you want to change -> be sure it is active -> scroll up and click on Active Skin Options tab -> change settings of skin and click save.

/wp-content/plugins/flagallery-skins/ folder and skin folders in it should be with write permissions to save skin settings.

check filenames of images. Filename should no contains spaces and special characters… only latin letters, digits and “_”, “-“.
Some free hosting add their scripts to xml files, so this can cause an error.

Beware: there is no simple way at all to edit the .SWF files because .SWF files is not editable. Some authors include .FLA (flash source) files with .SWF files. But then it will be Developer licence and price will grow up in 10 or more times.

I don’t realy know what are you talking about. Download and replace wordpress files on FTP. Maybe you have some files broken in wordpress instalation.
