Hi, I appreciate the continue support. I mentioned previously that within the fatal errors log those errors were generated when I spun up the backup of the website on the server. The errors were generated by the rebuilding of the website. The plugins work just fine on their own and don’t have issues, but nonetheless I removed them anyway for testing.

Is the Memory Limit and PHP Execution Time being mentioned specifically as a problem for the Square plugin? Can we focus on how this plugin is being utilized by the server and if there is an issue specific with this plugin and if there are any errors with it. I’ve stripped down the website to just your plugin, the Storefront theme, and the Woocommerce plugin. All other plugins have been deactivated or deleted.

Could the server be blocking anything? We use WP Engine and I know they block sessions and we can define cache exclusions. What’s the next step?

Hi, I have updated the staging website to use the Storefront theme and the only two plugins I have active is Woocommerce and the Square payment plugin. The issue is still happening. As I mentioned, however, the issue doesn’t always occur. Initially it didn’t work but when I reloaded the checkout page, it started working again and did so for 30 refreshes. Just to clarify, the credit card fields always take a little bit of time to load before they appear. You will see that gray box with no credit card input fields until they are fully loaded. If the fields do load after an initial second or two, that’s working as intended. The problem is when the fields never load. That’s what happening to me an our customers. They go to the checkout page and the fields never load and all they see is the gray box permanently. It sounds like the field loaded for you, it just took a second to finish loading. That’s normal and has been this way since the beginning. If the fields never load then you are seeing the problem.

We noticed this issue late last week. As I mentioned I pulled a 30 day backup of the website and that is actually what you are using to test at the moment. This version of the website was working 30 days ago and now it’s having the same problem as the production website so it’s not from any WordPress or plugin updates. Even though the production website has been updated, this 30 day old backup version should still work. The production version of the website was working as far as we know until late last week.

Thank you for the quick response. You are correct in that the error is the disappearing credit card input fields.

Regarding getting the error to show, it’s really tough to replicate the issue if the fields are showing initially. It can work for a long time and then all of a sudden it will stop working and will not work for a long time. In many cases if I use Incognito it’ll error immediately, but not always. I can replicate this error in Chrome, FF, and Edge. I’ve cleared my cache, the server cache, and removed all caching plugins.

For testing I’ve been going to the homepage, scrolling down a little and then selecting the ULTRA ZOOM? product. Then I follow the purchasing process to get to the checkout page. It seems to be happening for any product I select but that’s one product I’ve been using to test regularly.

We purchased the PRO version, installed the license, and updated the plugin to the newest version. Unfortunately we still have the same issue. I created a development version of the website for testing. I deactivated most of the website plugins to see if that would help too.

If you go to https://tvfolddev.wpengine.com/shop/market-apparel/, the “Apparel” checkbox is checked, which is correct. The results, however, are showing 225 results. Instead there should only be 98 results.

If you go to https://tvfolddev.wpengine.com/shop/market-apparel/ for testing, there will be some items you see on this website that is not working correctly because I disabled plugins for testing. For example, you may see some shortcode blocks because I disabled a plugin that handles those shortcodes. You can ignore this code.

I checked with my customer and they told me the plugin worked originally without the PRO version. It just stopped working as I described in my original post. We do have pretty URLs active.
