Add a regular menu in the footer and then create language specific menues in the backend. This is the only right way to handle this. Don’t set a hard coded link in the souce code.

This happen because the shortcode is specific to the theme.
The goal of switching the theme is to figure out if the error is still there. If not, you know, the problem comes froim your theme and you need to talk with the theme developer or to ask somebody else to fix it, if you can’t do it.

Polylang does translate only the content, not the theme. The transaltion for buttons regular comes from the theme language file.

So, you have a problem with WordPress, not with Polylang.
Probably you didn’t add the .htaccess settings for the permalink structure.

Polylang is a powerfull tool which allows you to translate the content of your website. Not each theme and plugin is fully compatible with Polylang.
For example, as I see in your plugin list, you are using Contact Form 7 and WooCommerce. Both are not compatible with Polylang and you need an extra plugin to get both work.
If you habe problems the first step is to disable each plugin except Polylang and switch to a standard theem like twentyseventeen. Then to check if your problem disapears. If so, you can localize if your theme or a plugin is responsible for the issue by activating one by one.

Change the permalink settings in WordPress. It is not related to Polylang.

If you don’t want to change the theme you will never know if the theme produces the error. Try it on a staging site. But without changing it, you will stuck with your issue.

As I wrote: Polylanf is not compatible with WooCommerce. You need an extra plugin for this (free or paid).

It sounds like the pages are not linked together. Did you translate them, for example, by clicking on the +-Button in the page list, on the right hand side, below the corresponding flag? Or do you create a new page from scratch and assigned only the language on the top right corn on the edit page screen?

I assume you are using WooCommerce, right. The translation you are looking for comex from WooCommerce itself.

BZW: Polylang is not compatible with WooCommerce, You need an extra plugin. Third party or Polylang for WooCommerce (is not for free).

Did you ever realized the reason for getting no answer is sitting in front of your computer? Why should somebody spend her/his free time helping you if you don’t spend your time to explain your problem in detail?
Think about it! Getting help from others for free is not a right, it is a privilege.

You can only find the solution within your theme. There is something wrong. Not with Polylang.
