Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: ‘Front Page’ Displayed In HeaderThanks for the response.
I saw this code too, but I can’t see what is posting it into the site.
I have the latest version of everything running on the site, I’m beginning to think this might be related to the JetMenu plugin which is part of Elementor.I’ve opened a ticket with them to check.
The references to dashicons-admin-home seem very odd.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] WC 3.3 – Mix & Match Add to Cart not workingThanks for the pointer.
I did find out that the problem was within my theme which used an ajax add to cart button.Disabling the ajax featured fixed the issue until a theme update is released.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Latest update broke my siteYou will notice the key word “if” in that reply.
And “if” you are running that plugin then it absolutely does have something to do with it.“If” you are not running that plugin, then I’m sure you’re smart enough to figure out the rest…

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Latest update broke my siteThis has been addressed multiple times already, look at other posts:
If you’re running the Remove Yoast SEO Comments plugin, try deactivating it.

In reply to: [Remove Yoast SEO Comments] Plugin conflict with Yoast 5.8@bart I hear what you’re saying, but the reason this plugin even exists is because Yoast intentionally force a link into every site using the plugin without an option to remove it.
To me that is already bad for their reputation and business, it’s an unnecessarily sneaky method for back-links.
It’s poor practice for any dev to force on users, a simple tick box to opt-out of displaying this is a far better practice for all imo.I simply found this too ironic not to be mentioned.
When I saw this bug I was instantly moved to check both plugins for incompatibility… I don’t believe in coincidences. ??If you’re running the Remove Yoast SEO Comments plugin, try deactivating that.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Update 5.8 crashes the siteWere/are you running the Remove Yoast SEO Comments plugin?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Remove Yoast SEO Comments] Plugin conflict with Yoast 5.8Haha Yoast have tried to combat people using the Remove Yoast SEO Comments plugin to removed the forced Yoast embedded links.
If you run both plugins you’ll either get a 500 server response or errors such as the one you’ve listed.
Test this yourself by deactivating the Remove Yoast SEO Comments plugin.Seems a bit of a cynical action Yoast.
So do we Cait…
Follow these directions to fix it:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/24-handling-for-20-variations?replies=1Fabulous, all fixed thanks. ??
We have this problem on our site at the moment, but in a slightly different form.
All of our variants appear on the site no problem, but the conditional element of the variants has gone.
So for instance on this page:
https://www.capturedcanvas.co.uk/product/colour/orangecanvasprints/winter-sunset-canvas-print/When you select the 2nd variant such as: 3 Panel
Then you should only see in the 3rd variant the 3 panel options, and the others relating to 5 panel and Large, Medium, Panoramic etc shouldnt even be listed. So now if you configure a product with the wrong configuration you get the error:
“Sorry, no products matched your selection. Please choose a different combination.”
Because you shouldnt have been able to make that group of selections.Up until we updated to the most recent version of WooCommerce it all ran perfectly for over a year since we made the site, now its screwed!
BTW: We just updated to 2.4.6 thinking it would fix this…. it didnt. ??
Any help really appreciated!!
