In reply to: [iSpring Embedder] Error on uploadHi,
I’ve downloaded from GitHub. Everything worked and the zip was reported as successfully uploaded and added to the list. I pasted the shortcode onto a page. My problem is that I get a 404 error file not found in the embed window.Any thoughts?

In reply to: [BuddyPress for LearnDash] GroupsYes, thanks, I have investigated further and in order to avoid confusion I am ‘localizing’ LearnDash and renaming their groups as teams. I can then think in terms of the BuddyPress group as being related to a course (all people enrolled on that course, maybe from different organisations or even different countries) and a LearnDash team as being a coherent cohort of people (a department in a company, a class in a school) having similar learning needs (and hence having access to a number of courses).

In reply to: best e-learning plug-in??Hi tuftyone
LearnDash uses Tin Can which is going to supersede SCORM. The extra info you provide suggests you plan to use WP to create learning resources (instead of using Articulate?). LearnDash is essentially an LMS – so you wouldn’t plug LearnDash into your client’s LMS.
I’d need to know which of the 600+ LMSs out there your client was using to be able to suggest an approach that might allow you to use WP in some form.
You would then also have to use something like Wax LRS in order to be able to share data with the client’s LMS.
So, unless your client is using a pretty ‘naf’ LMS, and there are plenty out there that look great before purchase and are a pig to work with after, you ought to be able to do the best job using Articulate.
Hope that helps

In reply to: best e-learning plug-in??Hi tuftyone
We decided to do some investigations into the use of WP for creating specific multi-device online learning platforms a few months back. We looked at both themes and plug-ins and finally chose LearnDash.
You can, of course, continue to use Articulate (we use iSpring which I guess you know is pretty similar) to create learning resources to use within the LearnDash system.
You can see a simple demo site which we are creating at:
