In reply to: [Contact Listing for WP Job Manager] email not sending to ownerHi, I know exactly what you mean the silence was deafening in this forum!
We didn’t find an easy answer – I found that the syntax in the “to” field has to be exactly correct and is not as documented in our case we ended up using this {field:contact_email_1507031016573}
that works – but we then run into further problems when we were trying to attach a file (CV) consequently I ended up downloading the Mailgun plug-in, and following those instructions to use Mailgun to send the emails ( this is as recommended in the Ninja forms documentation – what they don’t seem to say is that if you want it to work reliably you seemingly “MUST” to use this or some other third-party product)
We were lucky in that we already had a Mailgun account … I believe that setting that up is quite easy and also linking the two was straightforward (it’s also completely free unless your email volume is absolutely massive)
good luck ??

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] removing job meta details from single job listingHi and thanks for the reply.
to be clear, the part were trying to remove is the box at the top of the posting that begins with a small octane logo then contains this text
£22,000-£32,000
Tag
and to the right of it there is a website link. It’s that whole box we would like to remove
We have overridden the default templates as described in the tutorial and would be ready to make some minor changes to the PHP code directly, but would appreciate some guidance as to which aspect of the code “e.g. in single_job_listing.php?” Needs to be removed or commented out? … to stop this “meta” appearing at the top of each single job posting.
many thanks
Colin

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Move the apply for job buttonHi guys – as ever one modification has led to a request for another!
The client has asked that the job summary .. the part at the top of the listing that starts with a company icon be removed from each individual job listing.
I’m thinking that this will mean removing content-summary-job_listing.php .. or at least some of the lines? Could you point me in the right direction again?
Many thanks

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Move the apply for job buttonHi.. Thanks for the reply.. but… we are not developers (no php experience at all!) so unless there is a real easy step by step.. we’d have to get external help..
I’m a bit surprised there is no configuration option – from our client’s perspective – (UK job market) applicants tend to have a very short attention span.. quick read of the headline – area, salary then.. bang..click apply .. at the moment we can achieve the result by inserting a button at the top of the post and then hyperlinking down to the bottom of the page.. where the existing apply button is working really well throws with ninja forms extensions..
Thanks for the help – any thoughts advice would be appreciated –Forum: Plugins
