    Hi Uriahs,

Thank you for the reply, that explains why it didnt work. What you suggest is to use the short code as a custom field? I didnt quite understand how the excerpts can help, should I put the short code in the excerpts somewhere in teh post?

Thank you for your help to make it understand, your plugin is great and would love to continue to use it somehow!

Hi there, no problem, glad to be help and would like to see this work so I can use it to its full potential. Yah, the “master” blog where I exported the links is actually a child blog and I am trying to import the file to another child blog The master blog is a different one. I have activated the plugin for the whole network from the network plugin manager.

    Hi Again,

Now I have tried to manually add links to other blogs in my multisite and after saving the links simply disappear. What I have done is, use Keyword suggestion to load the list of keyworkds, click on them and add the link and click on save. When I come back to the same blog and go to Affiliate Links there is nothing! The links I added are simply gone.

Only place with the links still appearing is the very first blog I added the very first links, all other links I manually added this time are now gone …

Not sure whats wrong, but looks like the issue is not just importing, looks like it is some bug in multisite installations where data is not getting saved properly in proper tables for example … Happy to give you debug info if you ask for what you need to troubleshoot.

Hello again, I put all the deleted files back in the media library, activated the plugin and it worked fine! It published the scheduled posts and no complaints on the error.log

So, it looks like if I schedule a post and before the post is published I delete a image
file that’ll be used by blog2social it sends the plugin into a loop and hogs the server. Soon as I put the file back, all works normal.

As we aim to run this unattended and sometimes accidently files can be deleted, it’ll be worthwhile putting some error control to generate an error and halt the publishing in such a scenario …

Plugin is great! Thank you for the free trial of such an amazing product!

hello, thank you for the last reply. Yah, plugin is great and I am already sad I have to leave it disabled! ??

I think the installation went fine, the problem is, soon as I activate the plugin within few seconds the wordpress server completely stops responding, I cannot access wp-admin or the site frontend. When I SSH I can see the memory is maxed out and the errors in the apache2 error.log my only way back into wp-admin is to disable the plugin through mysql then all becomes normal.

My diagnosis is it is looking for a file name that is not there in the media library which is required for a scheduled post as it is not finding the file it is going in a loop. I think if there is a way to clear the scheduled posts, I should be able to activate the plugin and do the scheduling again …

    What do you think?

Hey, Thank you for the fast reply. I have got the plugin and whitelabel to work very well. I also realized the whitelabel iframe can be used without having to switch sites within my wordpress theme itself .. works great!

Yah, I am sure there are benefits on opening a new tab as well, but, it is kinda nice if the calendar opens in the same tab from UX point of view as well, IMHO … then it totally feels like a self contained site as well … I think it would be a nice feature to have and many will appreciate it!

Keep up the great work and look forward to the next version!

    Cheers

I am trying to use the Remote Connection, after I enter all the data, it says Preparing Connection for a long time and nothing happens … Any suggestions where I can look please>?

It is a brilliant plugin an thank you for all your hard work!
