Faisal, That worked. Thanks. Another question about the same YouTube iframe embed in DIVs. What media query format would I use to make that particular iframe video responsive?

How about centered captions in Advanced Images because the images themselves can’t be centered?

    Amit,

Thanks for the quick and helpful response. That solved the featured image issue.
Your padding suggestion was helpful but didn’t solve the larger problem and the
header issue is still a puzzle to me. There are two sections of controls at appearance/customize/Header:

    GENERAL
    Style
    Minimal
    Transparent
    Top Menu
    Full Screen
    Center
    Medium
    Vertical
    Custom Header
    Height (px)
    Header Full Width
    Header Border Bottom
    Padding (px) t|r|b|l

    HEADER MEDIA
    Header Image
    Add new image
    Position
    Default
    Top Left
    Top Center
    Top Right
    Center Left
    Center Right
    Bottom Left
    Bottom Center
    Bottom Right
    Attachment
    Default
    Scroll
    Fixed
    Repeat
    No-repeat
    Repeat
    Repeat-x
    Repeat-y
    Size
    Default
    Auto
    Cover
    Contain

I have searched for, but been unable to find an support FAQ that explains exactly how the image controls in these two different control sections work and/or interact with each other. I can see the changes I make by just guessing at combinations but I can’t predictably orchestrate an exact sizing and placement of the header I want to place. I want to use a substantialhy narrower header than the 2000×1200 suggested. I would like to find a place that explains each of the above controls and their interdependence. Is there anywhere on the Ocean WP support library that has that?

Try looking at this again: https://govtron.com/archives/28 . The image was inserted into the middle of a sentence in a multi sentence paragraph. A correct wrap would not break that sentence and you can see here that it DOES break the sentence. I’m trying to figure out how to get a clean, correct wrap and still don’t understand why simply adding caption text suddenly breaks the wrap.

In this instance, I created one post with image, no caption in it. See https://govtron.com/?p=25

Then, I created a second post with same text and same image but then I added a caption to it it. See https://govtron.com/?p=28. In this one, adding the caption also caused the in-paragraph word wrap to break and also added a very large blank space below the caption.

This is brand-new, plain vanilla WordPress install. I just opened Twenty Thirteen and tried to create a post with an image and caption.
