In reply to: how do I report malware in a WP plugin??Hi Steven,
Okay, I could not find it on their page, earlier, but I see it now.
I do believe this plugin should be looked into, due to the damage done to my site and the work that was required to get it back online.
I will use your provided reporting instructions to explain the issue further.
Thanks for your help.

Kim,
Adding to my comment above:
As you indicated, I needed to set up which plugin handles the registrations. There was one more place that I needed to change.
In BuddyBoss > General Settings > Registration I see another setting:
“Registration form” – there are two choices: BuddyBoss Registration / Custom URL
This was set to BuddyBoss Registration…
So, I selected “Custom URL” and entered the Permalink for the Membership Levels page, for example: https://example.com/membership-account/membership-levels/
Now, I am seeing the Membership Levels page, and if I choose a Membership, it opens the PMP registration form.
So far, so good! ??
Thanks for the tips!
Hi Kim,
Thanks for your reply.
I was thinking that if I delete all of the pages generated by PMP and then start over, that it would generate the correct pages for me. Is that correct?
In PMP, I have set the Registration Page to Use PMPro Levels Page.
In BuddyBoss (which is based on BuddyPress) I have set Register Form to a page called “Register.” The “Register” page is blank. Anyway, clicking the Register link in the Login section opens a Restricted Content page.
Previously, I had set the Register Form in BuddyBoss to the PMP Levels page, but that configuration displayed a registration form for BuddyBoss, along with my PMP levels. Kind of a mess because if you fill in the form and then click a level, you have to start all over filling in the real PMP form.
Initially when I uploaded these two plugins the BuddyBoss default was for the Registerpage, except that in my case, I had previously used a different membership plugin so Buddypress was trying to display a defunct page with the wrong shortcode on it.
Question 1: Is it possible that in my adding and trashing pages, that I got something mixed up? This is why I was asking about starting over and regenerating all pages.
Question 2:
In BuddyBoss (BuddyPress) should the registration page be set to “PMPro Levels” since that has the correct shortcode?
If so, how can I get rid of the Buddypress form fields?
Thanks for your help on this!
Hi Kim,
I have already installed and activated the PMP-Buddypress plugin.
I have set PMP to handle registration, as I want paid levels (the instructions say to choose Buddypress if you want free registrations only).
I checked the Page Settings, and all pages are assigned, and each page has the corresponding PMP shortcode.
In the link you provided, it indicates that you can let PMP set up the needed pages for you. I have already done that, however I may have edited/moved one or more pages while trying to fix this. Is it possible to re-generate these pages from that Page Settings tab?
Your help is much appreciated. ??

In reply to: Images won’t load in media libraryHi,
No problem – I appreciate your help.
I have just now tried a different browser.
I’m using the admin online to access the site.
On the other browser, the media folder is still empty, and the other problems remain.
I tried looking at the site using FTP (Filezilla) but was not able to see images that way. I use Siteground for hosting, and through their File Manager I could see image files, but didn’t see them via FTP. I tried to download the site files, but got only a partial download.
Uploading images – I was able to upload a new image file today (Media > Add New), but that image doesn’t appear in the media library, either.
Just opened an article – I can see the sample text and a featured image (this material came from the VideoPro theme). On the front end, I can see the image and text, also.
It seems like the images are in the site, but they are not visible in the media library.
The sample stuff from the theme developer seemed to take up lots of room, so I disabled the plugin that supplied it. The developer said that I would need to delete the sample files by hand, however.
Question: Could this theme somehow require the presence of the sample data plugin?
Please let me know what you think of the answers above.
Many thanks.

In reply to: [RSS Feed Retriever] unlimited items? That’s an interesting question.
I suppose you could set the items to a large number such as “1000.”
Just my opinion, but I think you need to keep in mind that the page might take a very long time to load a large number of items.

In reply to: Images won’t load in media libraryHi @jbotten
Thanks for the suggestion. I deactivated all plugins and checked the media library. The images still do not display there.
The theme (VideoPro) came with many, many plugins (25) and has been slow loading from the beginning but I thought I had it sort of working.
Now I see that the back end is not responding well, either.
I notice that the entire site seems to be acting a bit strangely. For example, on the admin side, when I try various simple functions (clicking the “plugins” checkbox to select all plugins) – nothing happens. I needed to check each plugin individually so I could deactivate them. If I click on Appearance > Customize, it tries to load the theme customization menu but gets nowhere. I see “you are customizing (and my site name) in the top left, and it never completes loading the page.
Should I be looking for issues in how the back end is set up, or maybe even download the entire site and re-post it (if that’s possible)?
Question: Could the image display issue be part of a larger problem with the site?
Thanks for your assistance.
Okay, so HELP!
I am still seeing the Warning message above, and now am getting another one related to simplepie.
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/customer/www/familyofficematch.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/podcast-feed-player-widget/podcast-feed-player-widget.php on line 252
Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/customer/www/familyofficematch.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-retriever/inc/lib/simplepie/library/SimplePie.php on line 2615
I thought this had resolved on its own, but with the latest WP version, I am seeing this Warning on my public pages.
Help appreciated!!

In reply to: [RSS Feed Retriever] Image not displaying from feedHello,
I have this same issue and I want to make a suggestion for the plugin.
Sometimes a feed is chosen because it’s the best source of information for the site, and choosing a different feed would not provide the articles that are best for the site’s visitors. This is especially true for niche sites where there are not many good, targeted feeds out there that have featured images that can be used. I would rather have good articles with no images than to have poor quality articles, even if they have images.
Suggestion: Add an option to specify a “default” image to take the place of the feed image.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Podcast Feed Player Widget and Shortcode] ErrorsHello again!
Mysteriously, and luckily, I no longer see the error message on the page, and have now published it.
I have another question, which I will post under a new topic.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Podcast Feed Player Widget and Shortcode] ErrorsHi,
I am trying to use two URLs:
https://familyofficeworld.blubrry.net/feed/podcast/
and
https://decipheredshow.com/feed/podcast/
Here is how I used the shortcode on my page:
[podcastfeed feedurl=”https://familyofficeworld.blubrry.net/feed/podcast/” quantity=”3″ imgsize=”200″ imgclass=”” itunes=”” google=”” soundcloud=”” icons=””]Listen to the Family Office World Podcast with Ron Diamond.[/podcastfeed]
<hr />
[podcastfeed feedurl=”https://decipheredshow.com/feed/podcast/” quantity=”1″ imgsize=”200″ imgclass=”” itunes=”” google=”” soundcloud=”” icons=””]The latest podcasts by Family Office World.[/podcastfeed]
I should mention that the Podcast Feed Player widget is not added anywhere – do I need to do that, and if so, can you give me a few instructions?
Am I using the plugin correctly?
Thanks for taking a look. ??

In reply to: [Podcast Feed Player Widget and Shortcode] ErrorsHi,
I’m also having issues with the plugin.
Getting a warning showing up on the page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/customer/www/example.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/podcast-feed-player-widget/podcast-feed-player-widget.php on line 252
The podcasts display, which is great, but the above warning appears at the top of the content area.
Need to solve this so I can take the podcast page out of Draft mode. ??
Still getting the warning:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/customer/www/example.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/podcast-feed-player-widget/podcast-feed-player-widget.php on line 252
What does this mean, and how can I fix it?
your help is appreciated!
@takayukister thanks for your reply.
The error message when the update failed was generic, and did not specifically state that the site was out of space, which let me to speculate that the new release of CF7 had issues.
I contacted my hosting provider, who discovered that the site had reached its storage limit, which was preventing the plugin from updating. This might have contributed to the issue with using CF7 on the site, I think.
After deleting some unnecessary backups, the update was successful.

In reply to: need plugin to allow users to post embedded video linksHi,
I found User Post Gallery:
https://odude.com/upg-user-post-gallery/
This does what I need, which is to allow users to upload a link from YouTube or Vimeo.
I don’t think this allows embeds from Instagram or other sites, but it works great for my site’s purposes and is inexpensive, too.
Mediapress, suggested by a2hostingrj, says on its site that it also allows Facebook, etc. You could write their developer directly, and find out which social sites they support.
