can’t post b/c my password doesn’t work there. Only for wordpress.com.

So i need to have my friend give me the password with which she set up that account? I think she forgot it. Have written to her and will see if she can reset/recover. If she can’t, what then? It’s not exactly a $-making or prestigious site. Just for composting. . . non-profit etc.

She and I are both identifiable. Can wordpress help if she doesn’t find the password?

i found our admin page but my password doesn’t work. Thought it would be reset to the password of my wordpress account. But that hasn’t worked!

hello esmi, thank you so very much. through my Cpanel i moved the word press site to an new folder called “infected blog” in order to get rid of the page that showed that i’d been hacked. but know i cannot get into word press. do i need to start all over with a new word press download and build it again? i see the change your pass word instructions, but i’m not sure if they mean for my cPanel or at word press.
