Today I checked my page again. It seems like changing the .htaccess files (I erased the Redirect) “solved” the problem, at least my page is working again.

However, something strange happened when I wanted to log in. It said my password was wrong and I hit reset. I got an email, which asked for confirmation, however the username stated in the mail was xxx-hacker.

I still reset the password, but I can’t change the username. How did that work?

I set up the bulletproof plugin (no idea if I did it right, seems quite complicated for a layman like me, I just ran the setup and acitvated everything I could find).

    Hey Guys,

    thanks for your replys!

I found this in my .htaccess:

    Redirect 301 / https://xxxxxxxxx/loading/

I erased it in every .htaccess file I could find in all the subfolders with the search-function, still the problem remains.

    Two other questions came up:

    1) Are alle the Sites (written text!) saved in the public_html\wp-content folder?

    2) In the public_html\wp-content folder I find an index.php. When I open it, the content is as follows: <?php// Silence is golden.?>

Is that normal? If that is a hacked file as well, there is no much use in copying and loading it up again I guess.

    Thx!

    Thanks for your reply!

How did those people corrupt my WP-Site without accessing my webspace?

So the steps are as followed?!:

    1) Deny All.htaccess (no idea what you mean ;))
    2) copy the content of wp-content folder and wp-config.php to my HD
    3) erase everything on my webspace
    4) install WP again
    5) install the bullet proof security plugin
    6) copy the files from my HD back on the webspace

What will I lose in this procedure? Is the theme saved in content, or do i have to configure everything again?

    Thx!
