So many features and plugins for social media. One might think the social media companies might do a solid and provide us little wordpress sites with some official plugins? Am I naive to think this?

I figured it out, I was not choosing login as type when setting up smtp.

The solution appears to have worked. It has been about 20 minutes since it was applied, thanks! Of course, will update if that changes.

Previous 403 error that I posted to your forum AITpro and a newer 405 error. Thanks for looking into this!

Yes. I am seeing it again. My security admin says it is probably spam, that has been blocked. The website is in good order and jetpack / WP are functioning as expected.

I am inclined not to whitelist the IP until I know it is absolutely safe.

Is this the part to change in wp-login.php:

mail.. is not secure right? I cannot use a protocol that is not secure.

I set-up smtp according to siteground and smtp type via postman, but it somehow prevents the buddypress email activations from sending.

I switched back to gmail oath, listed my email and scrapped the contact form.

No, seems to have resolved itself..perhaps, the security plugin figured it out?

I very recently set-up the google account. I think part of the problem was having a gmail and the website email on the same developer account. I deleted the gmail account.

If this was the case, the changes were delayed by an hour or so.

I tried to resend and now I am getting:

I saw that and is why I am checking out the reviews…how does it have half a million downloads .?
