Thanks for the information! We were on the most updated template. We also had only one plugin that was required by the template.
I called GoDaddy regarding the issue twice – thinking it was a plug in issue. They were able to help with understanding that the issue wasn’t happening with a new template when we tested one out. I also was not able to contact anyone directly at Neve outside of this forum.
I tested out the issue with other templates and was able to access the customizer. Truthfully, I didn’t have the capacity or skill set to troubleshoot the issue further.
We made the decision to go with another template that did not have this issue with the customizer.
I really appreciate your message and that you tried to help us figure this out.
