Hello again – I put code direct in to the message above and of course it’s showing as a link: left brackets off this time, hope that allows you to view the code itself..

Many thanks for getting back to us – I think it’s sorted: it looks like html link code may have changed..perhaps I can check with you…

So for instance originally I wrote this in brackets

    a href=”https://www.facebook.com/Cornwall-Community-News-271395472898872/” target=”_blank”>CCNs Home Page</a

    Which didn’t show a link

Then I used the auto-link option instead, and switched the view to code (text): when I edited that with a ‘target_blank’ so that it opened a second page and didn’t leave the website, the code automatically defaulted to this:

    a href=”https://www.facebook.com/Cornwall-Community-News-271395472898872/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>CCNs Home Page</a

    Which now works

Maybe you’ve some insight in to this, if so let us know, many thanks

Bound to have more questions, so very grateful for your help

    Best Wishes

    CCN ??

Well I managed to get the inner 300 by 250 ad back by remembering what it had been called but I still can’t remember what the vertical 160 by 600 ad was called so if anybody has the same template maybe they could just have a look and let me know what theirs is called?

I’m guessing that’s the way to sort it, it looks that way. I’m not an expert (by definition).

    cheers

    Kim
