Thanks for your replies. I found the tread mentioned just after posting this thread. I am using WP rocket.

Ibe followed the advice of the tread & hve switched to load css asynchronously.

Ok so i have now resolved this issue & its a bit of a school boy problem…

to diagnose: When viewing my website in Chrome browser i ‘right clicked’ on the shipping option & clicked on inspect. I found that if i highlighted the shipping options as if i was going to copy/paste it would show the text.

Amongst the detials in the style tab, i can see that the font/style was all taken from elementor & not from woo commerce.

I dropped back to the global fonts & colours options within the elementor editor just to re check everything & found that the colour for the form field label was set as transparent.

And thats it, changed it back to black & all sorted. How annoying!

EDIT: I have just updated to wordpress 5.8 .. The issue is still present

OK so in the interest of getting a move on with this build, i have switched themes to ‘generate press’ by Ton Usborne which has resolved the issue.

The white border issue also appears on the ‘basic’ theme by WP puzzle

I have just changed to the storefront theme and disabled all plugins. I had to enable elementor & woolementor to make the checkout page display but unfortuately the issue is still there.

I have also rolled back the workpress version to 5.2 which also has no effect.

Thanks, i did have a look at their forum but it didnt seem very active. I will post a message & see where it gets
