In reply to: New Post – Visual and Code View Gone ?I too, am seeing this issue after upgrading.
(2.3.3) – I have tried adding tinyMCE, etc.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: RSS iconI too, am having this issue just after installing; I am using WP 2.3 – the plugin appears to generate the magic number, etc. I ahve activated the plugin from the plugin’s page. the Quickstats page then becomes configurable via the ‘wp-admin/options-general.php?page=quickstats.php” url.
I am just not seeing the rss icon on the page akin to your screenshot of the plugin, nor seeing it in the page’s url/address bar area where I am accustomed to seeing a feed indicator. Also, where do the stats generated/viewed from?
Thanks — corq

In reply to: Hacking WP to support flat filesI’m hoping support for potential flat-file db can be mounted – my hosts db server has been flaky for sometime, meanwhile my pmwiki site (using magpie) is solid and a testament to good implementation but having to have my wp depend on mysql so critically has definitely been a bummer this week. Thanks to anyone actively exploring this idea!

In reply to: Firefox/Cookie/Bookmarlket issue?fixed it myself – the “Clear All” firefox in “Options” button is my new friend. Somethng about inheriting the old cache from the upgrade appears to have been the culprit.

In reply to: Report site’s primary languageAs a loyal WP user who’s *manually* chosen to update my lang settings and resubmit to several feed indexing services, I wholly endorse this.
Perhaps something giving the user at install/upgrade time the option, and explaning it’s potential importance.
Perhaps as a plugin for now, and a *feature* of the upgrade wizard for the next incremental update for WP?
Thanks guys! WP is the best!
