I am getting this as well. WordPress 5.0.3 and UM 2.0.38. Tough to add members when they can’t create a password. Using gmail as an email client with no option of using another email provider.
No caching plug ins active client side and server side does not offer caching.
Was this ever resolved? I am having the same issue. I created a new admin that does work, but my old admin login, that I need to work, will not.
Edit: It was a permission issue that I believe was a conflict with another plug in. I changed permissions then changed them back and it now works.

The only thing I am concerned with with losing user/member data and profiles. Hoping I can export that data for back up. I see a lot of posts where user profiles are blank, not showing up and that concerns me.
This has been an ongoing issue with profile visibility since 2.0.4. It is the main reason I have not upgraded.
I have been keeping a very close eye on all of these posts and wondering the same thing. I cant afford a lot of downtime with my site and none of the previous attempts I made to update worked.
Are people having more success now?
I was just about to post this myself. I dont have the time right now to play tech support web developer on my site. Nervous to upgrade with all the crap this has caused. Would love to know this as well.
Not sure where a stand alone is, but I used the WP Rollback plug in and worked great. Lists all the versions. Might give that a shot.
Did you try 2.0.7 yet? Someone just posted that versions worked for them, though not sure if same issues or not.
I get the same behavior. Not resolved yet, waiting to hear back from the developers. I rolled back to 1.3.88 to get it to work correctly. This was happening in the beta version as well and obviously wasn’t fixed then either. Lots of bugs in this release. If not fixed, I have to find an alternative member plug in that works.
Try changing your permalinks temporarily to Plain and see if username profiles are visible. This is my issue as well. When changed back to postname, I get the Not Found on this Server error.
I posted this issue as well. It appears to be a permalinks issue If you change permalinks to plain do your profiles show up? Mine do. But when changed back, profiles disappear and I get an Page Cannot be Found error. I had to roll back to 1.3.88.
Hmmm ok. Will do that. It is really a big security issue that there should be an option for it.
I am seeing the same thing and have noted it in my post as well. I think this is a bug. If you happen to figure this out, please report back.
Thanks

Sounds more like a bug than a customization. Your demo site doesn’t show the redirection at all. If I strip out the redirection from the URL and hit enter, I get the log in screen appearing as it should but when logging in, it goes to what looks like the user profile page with links to their account and Log out. The setting for logging in is set to Refresh Active page but it is redirecting to the profile page.
Again, this only happens when I strip out the redirect in the URL. If the redirect is still present, the user after logging is brought to the home page (active page).
My question is why? And how to I fix this?
In addition to the above question relating to the log in. is there any way to disable the “Keep me signed in” checkbox?
And finally, can enabling a secure log in work with this?
Thanks
