I’m comfortable modifying permissions I was just hoping for a list of which nextgen files and folders are causing the issue. My host won’t know anything about nextgen structure and function.

I installed from the CP. Are there instructions for manually setting the file permissions after installation? What files and folders does nextgen create and which of those need to be modified?

I’ve installed a couple other galleries to test and there don’t seem to be any problems with permissions.

formfiller is a gmail account it does not belong to the domain.

ANY email address real or imaginary, on the domain or not, that is entered into the form ends up in the FROM: field in the header of the email.

I don’t think that is what is causing the issue.

If I use [email protected] in the form then it shows up as

FROM: [email protected]

NOT [email protected]

[email protected] does not appear anywhere on the site.

it’s not getting it there though it’s getting it from the form. If I use [email protected] then it’s

FROM: formfiller’s name <[email protected]>

It’s not impossible since I use [email protected] but the site was registered using [email protected] but there is an admin with [email protected]

except there is an additional email included as bcc on one of them and it’s receiving the bcc but the bcc is also
FROM:formfiller’s name <[email protected]>
in the header data and also getting the google warning that it is phishing because the message was not sent by formfiller’s name <[email protected]>

Yes, 3 forms but they are all behaving in the same manner.

not enabled (the checkbox is unchecked) but the fields are filled out with

Confirmation email “From” address: [email protected]
Confirmation email “Reply To” address: [email protected]

Email to: myname,[email protected]

Return-path address (recommended): [email protected]

formfiller’s name <[email protected]>

when it should be

myname <[email protected]>

I also am talking about the actual FROM: in the header of the mail that is sent to myreturn-path-name <[email protected]> not a confirmation e-mail (disabled).

If I’d just looked a little harder.

I just figured out that the url of the sending page is automatically included in a hidden field and ends up in the report at the bottom of the e-mail.

Yes, I know how to add a hidden field but I need to know how to make the hidden field contain the post id or post title when using the form in the sidebar.
