Resolved by my own perseverance, for anyone needing to disable the ability to hyperlink to another page for refresh the homepage:

Just add a # in the Icon Link section.

Are you running the latest version, sometimes when you update a theme you can lose all of your personalisations, check you also have the Virtue Toolkit installed which was free too. If you have another theme IE: TwentyFourteen, maybe switch to it and switch back to Virtue. It is odd, sorry I can’t help any further.

@wadekeller Surely you just need to change the slug for the about page to the sub menu page slug.
