YAYYYY!!!! FINALLY! I logged on this morning to fast posting and editing! I’m so excited! So I figured I’d try and see if I could “Connect to wordpress.com” through the Jetpack update and it worked! Everything is updated and working! I didn’t loose any of my stat tracking! – Anyway, I figured I’d give everyone an update! ??

Same here. I got a notice to update my WordPress.com Stats plugin and to also update my Jetpack plug in. I got an error message stating “Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.” I checked with my host(Host Gator), and found out there is not a problem on their side of things either. They advised that wordpress stats and jetpack are probably still being worked on and to just wait it out… ugh. This is so bothersome that’s for sure.

I use hostgator. I agree with mokelly. This is on systemic. ugh drives me crazy. Extremely slow time with posting, editing etc. I seriously have been sitting here waiting for my post to submit/load for the last 5 minutes and finally it posted. This has been going on for the last 4 days for me. Any fixes yet?????
