I don’t seem to have any updates that were applied right when the problem started, no.
I tried deactivating a plugin to see if I could log stats again, but it created an error. I don’t seem to have a way of deactivating plugins to see what might have broken it.

In reply to: [This Day In History] Appearance Of ListIf I wanted to try using CSS, what code would I enter to achieve an appearance where entries have a space and the year is in bold? Like….
2018 Learned how to use this plugin.
2019 Still learned
2020 Feeling lost

In reply to: [This Day In History] Appearance Of ListReally appreciate you responding, but I’ve never used CSS and I’m feeling a little lost with your directions (which I’m certain is more about my ineptitude than your ability to explain.)
Is your answer the only way I make this happen? I guess what I was hoping to achieve was maybe a space between entries, and the year being in bold. Just some way to set each entry apart from one another.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Dash In SERP ResultI’m afraid I’m a bit lost now.
The WordPress General Settings definitely has the site name set. No characters, just the words “Exploring Upstate”.
the SEO Title for Posts is
Title Page Separator
is that wrong?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Dash In SERP ResultYeah, the domain title seems to be fine. It appears to be in SERPs for posts. Try doing a search for “Tinker Nature Park Fairy Houses”.

In reply to: [This Day In History] Update DuplicatesI thought of sending a screenshot, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do it here.
I do use “Event” as an event type.
Admittedly, I may be using the wrong term by “database”. I was referring to the collection of events that I entered within the plugin itself.
Interested in logging in to the site for yourself? I’d share credentials if it would help you out.

In reply to: [This Day In History] Update DuplicatesCorrect. This page is one of the places I use this plugin. You can see it shows them in an “uncategorized” space at the top, and then under the “Events” category at the bottom.
On the backend in the database, all events are listed twice. Once as the way I created them with a category, and then once without. Deleting one wipes both out.
I do use WP Super Cache. I emptied the cache. Didn’t fix it.
Correct, no errors are displayed outside of the duplicates.

In reply to: [This Day In History] Update DuplicatesThe page is displaying via the shortcode, but the duplicates actually show up in on the backend admin screen as well.

In reply to: [This Day In History] Update DuplicatesIn an effort to help troubleshoot a bit, I’ve been playing around.
If I enter a new event, that also shows twice. There’s one in the categorized section, and then one in the non-categorized section. Deleting one from the plugin’s database deletes both.

In reply to: [This Day In History] Update DuplicatesIf it helps to know…. it looks like all the duplicates don’t have an event type.

In reply to: [This Day In History] Insert MediaThat totally makes that you’d leave it out. I know a lot of people probably use this in sidebar widgets and stuff so it’d be a mess for sizing.
I like the idea of including media, but I also like the idea of not trying to mess with something that works. haha… I appreciate the code, but I think I’ll start incorporating hyperlinks to content instead.

In reply to: Visual Editor Is Blank/BrokenI appreciate this instruction, but accessing that kind of stuff is well over my head.
If it helps to know, I was placing a Google ad code in the post when things broke. I just went in to the text editor and removed that code, but it didn’t fix the problem.
I guess I could see if I can find a developer to assist with the instructions you provided, but I wouldn’t dare attempt that alone.
