Thanks. I have posted there already, but the forum seems to be dead. The only posters are all asking for help.

In reply to: View Zip Backup as a website offlineI tried serverpress, but that won’t do what I want it to unless I buy the premium package. I am going to try Local, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same story.
You’d think it would be easy to view files that you created and have on your PC for free!Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: View Zip Backup as a website offlineThanks guys. I do have the databases downloaded separately from the zip, so I hope they can be used together.

In reply to: Database update won't workCan you dumb it down at all?

In reply to: Help Me Remove Redirects and Pop Up BannersIm pretty sure the flag is due to these ads!
I’ve decided to remove bidvertiser completely. I think that may have solved it, so I hope the flag will be removed.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: App Store Pop UpI’ve been going through the ad sites I use and disabling anything that looks like a ‘mobile ad’ or a redirect of some kind, but the floating ad and the redirects to Play Store are still happening.

In reply to: App Store Pop UpI only see the ads that are meant to be there. They’re random, so maybe a dodgy one got through to you.

In reply to: App Store Pop UpI have no idea. Where was that? It could be connected.

In reply to: App Store Pop UpSorry. I thought it might be a generic problem.
It happens on pretty much any page I visit from Samsung Android smartphone. I guess it could be related to ads, but I have set them to display on page and not as pop ups.

In reply to: Fatal error: Allowed memory sizeIn between a huge amount of the above error are some instances of:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function load_textdomain() in /home/cracking/public_html/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 15
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/cracking/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function apply_filters() in /home/cracking/public_html/xmlrpc.php on line 80
Looking at it myself, I have no idea what could be wrong. I don’t know what I’m looking for.

In reply to: Fatal error: Allowed memory sizeThanks for the responses.
I used P3 Plugin already to see if anything might have been causing the problem.
I’ve deactivated several plugins that I was using and whittled it down to just the ones that I absolutely need. I previously thought it may have been Jetpack, or Bulletproof Security, or one of the social media autoposter plugins. They are all now deactivated and the error is still present.
The only plugin that P3 now shows to be potentially high is NextGen Gallery. I have asked their programmers for advice and they seem pretty sure it’s not a problem with their plugin, but so far no result finding the actual cause.I’m don’t have much technical knowledge with these kinds of things so I wouldn’t have the first clue on how to do things like optimising php or what to look for in functions.php. I’m using WordPress because it’s supposed to make things straight forward for people like me! Haha.

In reply to: Fatal error: Allowed memory sizeJust a gaming/entertainment blog. Fairly image heavy on some posts but not sure if that would make a huge difference.
I had this error appear when trying to publish a post today. This is new.
Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/cracking/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autotwitter/includes/functions.php on line 42 and defined in /home/cracking/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1152

No problem. Thanks!
I haven’t had any response as far as I can tell yet. How long does it usually take for replies to come through?
