I changed the WC setting shop page display and it seems to be working for me now. Although someone else has said the can’t view the shop.

Thank you. I have now tested several plugins for inserting ads and they are are making my CPU stats go crazy. I probably have too many plugins anyway so want to avoid one more if I can. If anyone has a link to a good tutorial I’d be really grateful!

Yay! This worked for me too – I’ve been meaning to change the posts on homepage for ages!

Since resolving this issue before I have changed to a child theme and my topbar is no longer sticky. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks!

Thanks for the response. The issue they had was this folder and its size:

Size Directory
122GB /wp-content/uploads/ithemes-security/backup

I have deleted the contents and have made alternative back up arrangements.

Thanks esmi, that worked! So now I can activate my child theme – great!

Except that, when I do that, all the formatting of my site disappears. Eg – no sidebars. I haven’t added anything else to the code given above.

I’ve checked the WP how-to on creating child themes and there doesn’t seem to be anything essential *after* activating the theme successfully.

I assumed it would look like the parent theme unless I added anything to the style.css of the child theme?

OK so this is the text I have added to my new child theme style.css:

When I try to activate the child theme it says it is broken:

Name Description
Hueman Child The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Hueman” parent theme.

As you can tell I am new to this area of coding, any help as to where I’m going wrong greatly appreciated.

I have a custom css plugin but I don’t have a child theme. I’ll check out the above link on how to set one up. Or can I just add the above code (thanks for that!) to my custom css plugin?
